Erazmus?!

OK, the list is on!

The choices I'm considering:
Barcelona (Spain): The university seems really OK, city is OK, I could make it without initial knowledge of Spanish or Catalonian. Warm, sunny, happy place. Level of teaching is lower than home, so I could keep up the pace.
Also: interesting subjects I could take in English philology.
Drawbacks: I don't know the language at all (either. I would not tell if someone speaks Catalonian (spell?) or Spanish. There is an art faculty with what, graphics narration or narration in graphics, but! Only in Catalonian. Still If I could attend life drawing or stuff it can be even in Chinese just LET ME DO IT!!!! Also I know nothing of the country. And it seems to be one of the most expensive places (especially acommodation: 300-350euro which may exceed the scholarship) although I was said they value Polish people in language schools for our lever of the language.
2 places from my faculty.

Bielefeld, Germany. More-less middle of Germany, climate the same as here. Seems quite inviting.  I know a bit German, so  I think I'd manage, especially with a bit of pre-preparation.
And:www.uni-bielefeld.de/lili/kumu/studium/allgemeineinfo.html I'm not 100% sure, if it woudl work, but it IS in linguistics and literaturewhatever faculty... that is MY faculty... Could I do some subjects from that? God, if yes I'd make it my first choice! Shit, I'm not THAT good in German to understand all the pages here 0o Anyway Erasmus students seem to be under some special laws anyway...
Drawbacks: no insider info, crappy climate(=same as here), no costs information.
1 place from my cafulty

Berlin, Germany www.fu-berlin.de/: Hmm, well, Berlin is Berlin. Probably expensive. Nothing to thrilling in the matter of subjects; apart from linguistics I might try something from IT. Oh, they've got Japanese Philology! XD Stupid me...
Simillarly as Bielefed I'd improve my German knowlegde. More for the city than studying, I guess. Also: few hours in the train and I'm home.
Drawbacks: Climate, probably prices
2 places from the faculty

Well, I'd say those are my top choices, although I'm not sure in which order. I'm not a top student so it'd be probably better to decide on less popular one as first... only I don't know which is less popular XD I guess there is a fight between Bielefeld and Barcelona for the 1st choice (mostly because of the art subjects). Berlin is a 3rd choice kind of because it's Berlin (the World), partly because there are no better choices... Passau www.uni-passau.de and Stuttgart www.uni-stuttgart.de/ seem boring, aminly because there seems nothing I could study apart from linguistics (well, I could go for a IT faculty...)

Oh, there is also Neapol web.unina2.it/ I don't understand anything about ( I was able to at least guess on the Spanish site) and Marsille www.univ-provence.fr/ ("If you can't read this site you are not worthy of comming here".. no really, I hear everywhere the French hate English -_-) and Helsinki www.helsinki.fi but I don't see anything worthy of going somewhere even colder than here and Avuiero, Portugal http://www.ua.pt/ (Err???).

My head is spinning from too much information, yet I know not what to do.
Uh.... help?

i believe it's Catalan, not Catalonian, and Naples for Neapol.

other than that, i'd consider being seriously jealous if you went to Barcelona. i've heard the city's wonderful... (i'm not going myself because i'm fed up with the Spanish after as little as two weeks in the Bsq, so i guess i wouldn't survive a year in the country ^^')

Germany... is close. and they must have a pretty good level (because, well, it's Germany).

GO TO BARCELONA NOOOOOW!!!!!
That would be my choice for sure. As i told you i went there several times and i don't think it is so expensive ( food and so one), for sure it's cheaper than Italy in many field.

Ah right, the language! People in Barcelona can talk basically in catalan or castilian( aka official spanish) and i find catalan easier to understand.Just don't say a catalan you prefer the castilian XD (and viceversa lol)

For Neapol ( Napoli for us XD)...just don't go there!Ok, the city is very nice, it's quite warm even if still winter but.....Barcellona is better XD

Hmm, so I guess Barcelona as the first choice? :) (I might not get to my first choice though :/ ) Haha, I'd be really scared to go there... but it's exactly about that: crossing my safety zone XD
